Hi friend, my name is Anthony Frederick.
I've been in video production for nearly 20 years. I have created or worked on nearly every type of video you can think of (*almost). Films, documentaries, music videos, art installations, travel videos, adventure sports, concerts, weddings, commercials, corporate, news, healthcare, even humanitarian aid.
I was finally introduced to Youtube when I landed at BuzzFeed in late 2016 where I started editing a "little" show called BuzzFeed Unsolved, and that show didn’t stay little for very long.
From there I was asked to help launch a new kind of Youtube channel (at the time) called Watcher Entertainment. As a creative director and senior editor, I got to help craft fun, chaotic shows like Puppet History, Dish Granted, and eventually the Webby-winning Ghost Files, just to name a few.
But I knew I wanted to make my own things. I wanted to tell my own stories AND figure out a way to help others do the same.
I am so excited to get to offer this container for you.
Truly, the value of creating a video - in breaking down how to tell your story, problem-solving a production, and discovering your final piece in the edit - is easily 50x more than I could begin to describe.
But it’s not for me to tell you. It’s for you to discover for yourself.

WHEN WILL 1:1 SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
You will be able to self-schedule your 1:1 sessions with me throughout the program. Your seat includes a maximum of 4 sessions.
(Requests for additional sessions may be discussed for an additional charge.)
WHAT'S THE TIME COMMITMENT?
It really depends on you and what goals you want to set for yourself. This container is not about sticking to a rigid top-down schedule (unless that’s what you want).
That said, the suggested minimum time commitment for this program is 5-10 hours per week.
WHAT PRIOR EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
This program is ideal for candidates who already have some media experience and are at least familiar with the technical basics of video production.
However, if you are a complete beginner ready to put in the work, you are absolutely still encouraged to apply.
DO I NEED AN IDEA FOR MY VIDEO TO START?
Yes. Given the accelerated timeline of this program, you will need an idea of what you want to create at the start.
However, as you evolve through the program, so may your idea.
DO I NEED SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, OR SUBSCRIPTIONS?
Nope. It's up to you what gear you require for your project. If you want guidance figuring out the configuration that works best for you, we can absolutely cover that in the program.
